The standout sophmore is explosive. When it comes to explosion for guards and Ja Morant being the 10 on a scale of 1-10, Chavis is at an 8 and maybe pushing a 9.  That’s quite elite. He may be the most athletic player in his class. Defensively he battles.  Uses his long strong frame to poke the ball away from offensive players to create a highlight reel on the other end of the floor. He can attack from angles and score in small windows that others can’t. He can beat guys to spots on D,  blitz the lane or get up the floor faster than most. His athleticism allows him to finish in a variety of ways. Lookout for Casmir at the next level, will he highly recruited as he has improved his outside shot.

The standout sophmore guard gives opponents fits on both ends of the floor, willing to sacrifice offense to guard the other team's best player, keeps the defense on their heels, finishes at the rim through contact with his sneaky athleticism, and is as tough as nails. Demari feels disrespected by being ranked #34 in the state of Minnesota, and has been taking every opportunity to show that he's easily a top 10 player in the state. You won't be able to find 33 players in the state of Minnesota better him him. His heart allows him to play alot taller than his height.

The standout sophmore forward is motivated & hungry. Standing 6'8 with a 7ft wingspan, Chiang is an elite level shotblocker, rebounder & finisher. Has increased footspeed, and continues to improve perimeter skills. He has made it hard for the opposing teams to score in the paint, blocking multiple shots on the same possession, starting fast breaks, and ripping down the rim on the other end of the floor is just. Chiang has been the best shot blocker in the state of Minnesota for the last two years. His biggest games have been against Chet Holmgren and Prince Aligbe. Lookout for Chiang Ring at the next level.

The standout freshman might be the most physically advanced freshman in the state. He has a strong build, finishes above the rim, and possesses impressive length at 6’5. That alone gives him a high ceiling, and I think early on in his high school career he’ll have a big impact defensively. He can move his feet to defend on the perimeter, enjoys applying high ball pressure even against guys half a foot shorter than him. On the offensive end you’ll rarely see him get sped up as he constantly plays under control and shows the ability to create his own looks off the dribble. He uses his body well to shield off defenders around the rim, and does a nice job of going up balanced off two feet to finish at a high percentage. Also shows that he can hit the open jumper from three, and rip the rim down for a massive dunk. Temi will definitely make a run fir the #1 spot in his class.

Speaking of potential, the ceiling on Jaheim is through the roof. He has grown 3-4 inches and now stands at around 6’6-6’7 with a 7ft wingspan. With the new height he’s also kept his mobility and above-the-rim athleticism that makes him so fun to watch in transition. Minneapolis South is a deep team so he likely won’t put up big numbers, but has showed that he can put the ball on the floor and go coast-to-coast weaving through defenders and getting to the rim to finish. Defensively he’s a weapon because you can throw him in just about any spot and he has the physical tools to make plays. Jaheim is a match-up nightmare, quick off the dribble, elite 

mid-range game, plays 1-4, and a threat to catch a body at any moment slashing through the lane.

The standout sophmore guard looks to be putting his name in the conversation for best shooter in the 2024 class along with his teammate Jerome WilliamsJr. The release has all the confidence in the world, and continues to showcase that his range extends to 4+ feet beyond the high school line. Against Hiawatha it got to a point where everyone knew he was going to shoot the three when he got the ball, but no one could seem to stop him. Even with a hand in his face Poet is able to drain three after three. Having sneaky athleticism, the 6’0 sophomore finishes in transition and loves to get up and pressure the ball after a score.

The standout 8th grader is unique. Jayden's quickness is at another level. He has quick hands to poke the ball away, which leads to transition buckets for his team. He pushes the ball with speed and control,
and has the quickness to turn the corner on veteran guards to deliver an assist , to get to a mid range pull-up, or his soft touch floater. His perimeter shooting has improved every year.  His basketball IQ, court vision, and ability to make pocket pass from different areas of the floor is beyond his years.  He is composed and has yet to get rattled at the varsity level.  An 8th grader is closing out a games against big schools. Jayden is a rare talent that hasn't even officially entered high school. What he's done so far, and what he will continue to do during his high school career will make him an elite prospect amongst the nation's best.

The standout sophmore is a unique and talented prospect in the sense that with his skill set and potential to be over 6’5” can really set him apart in the class as a College prospect.  He is a knock down shooter from the 3point land and is great at attacking the rim with a strong dribble.  A really good ball handler that allows him to score off the dribble in small spaces with great finishes.  A long lanky athlete that plays lock down Defense.  The 2024 prospect plays with a lot of poise and a mature feel for the game, and he never looks rushed or gets sped up by defenders. Has good shot selection, takes what the defense gives him, unselfish enough to pass up some good looks to get even better shots for his teammates, but at the same time posses the ability to go for 30 on any given night. He hits the three at a high level, and reads closeouts to blow by defenders and attack baseline at times. Defensively he’s fundamentally sound with his positioning, and brings toughness to both ends of the floor. Randy will be a highly sought after recruit.
